Engineered stone has been banned nationally since 1 July 2024, with imports stopped from 1 January 2025, so we do not supply or install it. For laundries we usually recommend laminate for value, timber for warmth or stainless steel for a hard-wearing, wipe-clean surface. Natural stone and porcelain are also available through licensed stonemasons if you want a premium finish. We will talk through the upkeep of each option.

Is laundry cabinetry waterproof?

No cabinetry is genuinely waterproof, and we will always be honest about that. We build laundry carcasses from moisture-resistant board, which handles splashes and humidity far better than standard board, and we seal and fit carefully around the tub and machines. Wiping up spills and keeping the room ventilated will help any laundry last well. Quality soft-close hardware and a proper install do the rest.

Can the laundry match my kitchen?
